Shipping Policy

We ship most items with USPS. Oversize and overweight items are shipped with UPS. We can NOT use buyer's shipping account when shipping with UPS. United States Parcel Service (USPS) does not provide en route tracking unless the package is shipped USPS Express. We are NOT responsible for items that are damaged or lost during shipment. Insurance is highly recommended for all purchases. We make every effort possible to make sure packages will not be damaged or lost but we have no control once they leave our hands. International packages are more likely to get damaged or lost because they travel further and longer and have to go thru customs. There is no tracking information available for international packages so please insure your package to avoid possible loss. USPS insurance rates for U.S bound packages are: $1.65 for coverage up to $50, $2.05 for coverage up to $100, $2.45 for coverage up to $200, $4.60 for coverage up to $300, add $0.90 for each additional $100 coverage desired.

 

USPS insurance rates for International bound packages are approximately $1 higher than U.S. packages for any specified insurance amount that is shown above. PLEASE ADD INSURANCE COST FOR YOUR PACKAGE during checkout. Local pick up is NOT available.

 

Shipping and Handling Charges & Sales tax

ALL item prices quoted throughout our site do not include Shipping and Handling. Shipping and Handling varies by weight and delivery destination and all Shipping and Handling charges are added during checkout. Periodically we may offer promotions of "free shipping" or other types of promotions, and specific details of any promotional offer will be found during checkout or at the specific product or products section of the site. For shipments to Texas addresses, we are required to collect 8.25% Sales Tax on the total, (including shipping and handling cost). If you have a Texas resale / tax exemption certificate and choose to forgo paying the Texas sales tax, you will be required to provide us with a hard copy of your tax exempt status for our records as required by the Texas State Comptroller before the item can be shipped to you.

 

Returns Policy

We can not guarantee serviceability or airworthiness of any item sold on our website. We do not accept returns for items sold "as is" or "as removed" or if an item does not fit your application or if an item case / housing (where it applies) has been opened or altered in any way. All items are marked prior to shipping, and any tampering of an item, (beyond what is required for installation), will void return and the item will be returned to buyer by cod. We do not accept returns on any type of cut material sold (fiberglass, leather, etc.) or any manuals or any items shipped outside U.S.A. Items that qualify for returns MUST be returned within 7 days from receipt and MUST be in the condition they were received. A 15% return processing / restocking fee will apply to ALL returned items with a $10 minimum. Shipping and handling cost is not refundable.

 

General

We make every effort to provide accurate description and condition of our products as it is available to us at the time of listing each product. None of the products sold in our website have been tested for functionality or operation unless stated otherwise. No documentation paperwork provided with any item unless otherwise stated on specific item description page. NONE of the items sold under dfwairparts.com are implied to be Airworthy. Airworthiness is to be determined only by the person or persons installing said item on Aircraft.
