7340, 734-0, Aircraft Instrument Panel Light Dimming Rheostat

Aircraft Instrument Panel Light Dimming Rheostat. Manufactured by Grayhill. P/N 7340. It has 8 terminals and is the type rheostat that is used in production aircraft to dim instrument panel lights. It measures 1" diameter, 1 3/4" long and it mounts in a 3/8" diameter instrument panel hole. The shaft is 1/4" diameter. It was removed from a salvage aircraft.
